Tumeric may have unique anti-inflammatory characteristics. Curcuminoids found in tumeric may inhibit inflammation like ibuprofen, aspirin and cox-2 inhibitors with fewer side effects. Tumeric is also an antioxidant and may play a role in limiting free radical damage. Tumeric used in COX-2 Support is standardized to 95% curcumin.Ginger

May be effective for back pain and pain associated with osteoarthritis. Devil's claw contains iridoid glycosides which appear to have an anti-inflammatory effects and inhibit COX-2.Green Tea

Bromelain is a proteolytic enzyme derived from pineapple. Bromelain has anti-inflammatory properties and is used for healing bruises and localized swelling. Studies suggest that bromelain may reduce pain associatted with arthritis.Grape Seed Extract

Studies indicate grape seed extract may inhibit the destruction of collagen and other damaging effects of free radicals while supporting healthy blood flow.
